Create balance in your home

Hang your artwork so the center is at eye
level (on average 145-150 cm from the
floor). For seating areas, adjust the height
slightly lower to align with seated eye
level and leave 15 – 20 cm between
furniture and the art.

Leave enough white space around the artwork and furniture to create a balanced, harmonious look. Choose pieces that complement the tones of your interior or create a bold contrast for added impact. Consider how the artwork works together with your furniture and other decorative elements to create a cohesive overall look.

Play with compositions

Experiment with layouts on the floor before
hanging. Keep 5–10 cm between
artworks.

Symmetry: pair two or more artworks of
similar size for a clean, balanced effect.

Statement Pieces: let a bold, large piece
stand alone to draw attention.

Lighting makes a difference

Highlight your art by installing adjustable
picture lights, spotlights or strategically
place lamps to bring focus to your art.

For delicate works like charcoal or
watercolors be careful around direct
sunlight to prevent fading. Consider using
UV-protective glass to protect your art.

Choose the right tools

To secure your art use hooks, screws, or
anchors based on the weight of the art and
appropriate for your wall type.

Use paper templates or painter’s tape to
plan your layout on the wall before making
holes.

Option 1: Hang it from the frame

  1. Use a spirit level to mark two points on the wall.
  2. Drill two suitable screws into the wall, making sure they are level and appropriate for the weight of your artwork.
  3. Carefully place the frame onto the screws.
  4. Check that your artwork is straight, and enjoy!

Option 2: Use the hanging loop

All small size artworks come with hanging loop attached to the back of the frame.

  1. Carefully use a sharp object, such as scissors, to gently pull the loop towards you.
  2. Place the loop over a suitable wall hook or screw.
  3. Make sure the hook is securely fixed and can safely support the weight of the artwork.
  4. Hang your artwork, adjust it until it is straight, and you're done!
