Shipping Information

Your artwork is on its way

Thank you for your order. We are pleased to inform you that your original artwork is on its way to its new home. Below, you’ll find all the essential details regarding shipping, customs, and support.

Shipment Process

We aim to pack and ship your artwork within 2 to 3 weeks using our trusted courier, ParcelParcel. As soon as your package is ready for collection from our gallery, you will receive a track and trace code to monitor the delivery progress.

Please note that we cannot alter delivery statuses or influence estimated delivery times once the parcel has been handed over to the courier.

VAT and Customs

For shipments from the Netherlands to countries outside the European Union, we deduct 21% VAT on the frame (if purchased).

However, your local customs office may require you to submit additional documentation. Import duties and taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations. These are the responsibility of the customer.

We recommend researching your country’s import procedures in advance. Online calculators may provide estimated costs, but actual charges can vary.

Packaging and Insurance

Carré d’artistes has over a decade of experience in shipping artworks worldwide. We ensure every piece is carefully packaged to meet international shipping standards.

All shipments are fully insured to provide peace of mind. In the unlikely event that your artwork is damaged during transit, please contact the gallery where you made the purchase. Be sure to include clear photos of both the packaging and the artwork.

We are committed to finding a suitable solution, whether that means repairing the damage, replacing the frame, or offering an alternative piece.
